Organogram
The implementation of the Programme comprises three aspects: Programme Management, Programme Implementation, and Programme Monitoring, Reporting, and Evaluation (MRE). The main institutions involved in Programme Management are the Programme Steering Committee (PSC) and the Programme Coordination Unit (PCU). The main agencies/committees involved in the Programme Implementation are the PCU, SAC, IFPRI, SAARC Development Fund (SDF), SAARC Member States (through the National Agricultural Research and Extension Systems – NARES – or National Focal Points- NFPs), and IFAD.
Organogram of Programme Management (C-SUCSeS Project)
The Programme oversight will be undertaken by a Project Steering Committee (PSC) consisting of Heads of NARES and/or relevant Departments of participating countries, SAARC Secretariat, SAC, IFPRI, SDF, and IFAD (the latter two as observers), chaired by Heads of NARES on a rotation basis and co-chaired by Director of SAC and Director of IFPRI/South Asia Office. The PSC will monitor the progress of the project based on M&E data generated by the PSC and other available information and will advise on specific issues brought to its attention. It will meet annually to review the progress of project activities and provide overall guidance on project implementation. IFAD will provide an advisory role to the PSC. The PCU will act as the secretariat of the PSC and the Project Coordinator as Member Secretary. The PSC meetings will be convened back-to-back with relevant SAC meetings annually. The responsibilities of the PSC will be to oversee programme implementation progress, provide strategic and policy guidance approve AWPB and oversee the audit process. SAC will be responsible for coordinating the PSC meetings with the support of the PCU.
